Prayer Challenge

Prayer changes things. I believe this to be true, but I fall short on applying this to my life. To many times, I approach things without first asking God to guide me. Since posting my Word of 2020 – Trust, I’ve become even more aware of how much I fall short in praying and trusting God with my life.

In a recent post, I shared about a new prayer box that I was using. Since I began using the cards to record my prayer list, I’ve noticed that I’m more aware of God answering my prayers. As I’ve looked back at my cards, I’m amazed at how God has resolved many of the things on my cards. It’s been eye opening and amazing to see just how much God is at work in my life.

Since I’ve reaped so many benefits from the small change I’ve made in my prayer life, I’ve decided to take another step with a prayer challenge. I got this idea (that I’ve adapted somewhat) from a Facebook post from blogger Amy Weatherly.

Prayer Challenge
Pick 5 people
Take 5 minutes to pray for them for the next 5 days
Your choice to share with them or not
Trust God

The power of prayer is at our disposal, let’s get busy using this incredible gift that God has given us all.

“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:22

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” 1 John 5:14-15

As always thanks for reading. Blessings!

Until next time,
