Scripture Writing: Fruit of the Spirit – Love

Well I’ve made it to Day 4 of my scripture writing plan and I thought I would share some pics of the pages in my scripture writing journal.

I’m keeping my scripture writing fairly simple. I’m utilizing highlighters to emphasize key words in the scriptures as well as script and cursive lettering.

Even though this bible study is simplistic in nature, I’ve discovered that reading and writing the passage, then highlighting key words encourages me to meditate on the scriptures multiple times. I find that I am lingering longer on God’s word and letting it seep into my heart even more than when I just read the verses.

I’m thoroughly enjoying the scripture writing plan. I would love to see your pages and hear your thoughts on the study. Comment and let me know your thoughts.

If you enjoy my blog, I would really appreciate if you would take time to share and like it. Thanks so much and God bless.

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8

Until next time,

  1. Awesome Nicki; spiritual minds think alike. I love it…

  2. […] Here are the last 3 pages of my Fruit of the Spirit – Love – Scripture Writing. I’m not real happy with my Day 5 page. But it’s okay. It will be neat to see the difference in my early pages compared to my pages at the end of the 9 weeks. Right now I’m using some gel highlighters that I love to use for bible highlighters, because they don’t bleed through the page. It’s just not giving me the look on my journal pages that I’m happy with. I think for the next week, I will pull out my Sharpie pens and highlighters. If you would like the see the first part of this week’s pages you can find them here Fruit of the Spirit – Love. […]
