30 Days of Thanks – Day 4

With the time change, I woke up earlier this morning. Usually, I’m just waking as my husband is leaving for work, but this morning I got to enjoy about an hour with Joe before he left. Even though, we both went about our morning routines, it was nice to hear the sounds of him moving around the house and I appreciated the few moments of conversation we shared.

I’m very thankful for my husband. My prayers were answered when God gave me Joe for my mate. While I don’t always so my appreciation for him, I am very grateful that I have him. He’s a good man, husband, father, and provider. I was blessed big when I said “I do” to him.

So today, I give thanks for Joe. He’s a pretty good fella and God knew just who I needed to get through this thing called life.

“Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” Mark 10:9

“And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Genesis 18:2

Until next time, lots of love to you and yours

  2. Nicki, this is beautiful, other than being a Christian there is no other blessing in comparison than having a faithful Christian husband who love God, his wife and both diligently working together in the Lord’s Church, in their perspective assignments.
