Blessings of my Blogging Adventure

After completing my blog’s first 31 Day Bible Study Challenge, I had no idea all the blessings I would receive from completing that challenge. Being in God’s word always blesses and enriches my life and taking the time to study about faithful women taught me so much about my own faith and walk with God.

Along with the blessing of increased knowledge of God’s word, I received some surprise blessings during that month too. When I began the challenge, I wondered if I could complete the task of a daily post. With the help of friends and family willing to guest blog, I was able to not only post daily, but I was also able to enjoy reading other’s thoughts on some of the women of faith.

Another surprise was meeting some other bloggers during that monthlong challenge. I’m very new to the blogging community, but I’ve noticed there is a great deal of encouragement and support within this online community. And it’s exciting to see you’ve connected with someone that resides in another state or another country.

Through the 31 day challenge of posting a daily blog, I remembered how much I love to write. Writing has always been a great outlet for me, but the daily commitment to writing was a great stress reliever for me.

Posting a daily blog, I enjoyed learning more about the mechanics of a blog website. While there is still a lot I need to learn, I enjoyed gaining some knowledge in design, code, and website creation.

Since I completed to the 31 Day Bible Challenge, I found myself getting discouraged because I was not inspired to write as often. My husband mentioned that my creativeness seems to go in spurts, so to not get down about my lack of writing. I hoped the “Sing Praises” bible study would inspire me to continue regular posting, but with the difficulties of copyrights it didn’t work out as I planned.

Although, I have not posted as often, I remain thankful for this outlet. I’ve had the opportunity to meet people in the blogging community. I also get support and encouragement from friends and family that read my blog. It really has been a blessing to me to start blogging and it has been a great outlet for me.

Rather than getting down on myself about not posting as often, I decided to be thankful with what I’ve done and enjoy the outlet that I have. Rather than letting my blogging become a drudgery and take the joy out of writing, I will let my times of inspiration happen naturally. I pray that God will continue to bless me with inspiration and that I may write something that blesses others.

I want to tell all my followers how much I appreciate you. It means a lot to me that you take time to read my blog. Thank you for the encouragement and for your patience. Even though my posts may be sporadic at times, I do hope that you enjoy them.

“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalms 118:24

Thanks for continuing to follow.

Lots of love to you and yours.

  1. That is exactly how creative people produce. Good for you for realizing you won’t enjoy it if you force yourself. You can jot notes down in a journal and those thoughts in snippets will probably bring a big picture. The Lord will use the things you share from your heart to bless you and others. Thank you for inspiring me with just seeing your focus is God. In a world where every pop up is bad, I see your name and I know it will be a good pure thought time for me to read.
