I have missed posting on my blog this week. Actually, I have tried a couple of times to write something but my mind just wouldn’t cooperate with me. I couldn’t seem to complete a post. One reason I am struggling to write a postable article this week is because I am currently in Minnesota on a mission trip.

I’ve had the privilege to visit with a local congregation of the Lord’s church in Roseville and Eagan Minnesota. It has been such a great week and beneficial time. This week has been filled with so much activity that it has been hard for me to find the time to sit and write. And when I had the time to sit and write, I was too tired to write more than a paragraph.

After talking to some of my friends on the trip with me, they encouraged me and said I will have a lot to say in the coming weeks. I hope and pray I do. So I will take this time to replenish myself and grow closer to God. For now, I will leave you with a some verses to meditate on. Hopefully I will have much to say in the coming weeks.

‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.’ (John 1:1-3)

‘Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”‘ (Matthew 11:28-30)

‘In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.’ (Psalms 127:2)

‘In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.’ (Psalms 4:8)
